My goodness, I know I've been out of commission for a while, but
two months is a bit too much I can tell you!
I'm ready to put all of that illness hooey behind me now,
and despite missing all but a few days of the Halloween season,
I'll just keep moving forward and straight on till Christmas! :-)
Speaking of Halloween....
Since it is nearly upon us, and I know you'll be out
Trick or Treating on the day itself,
I shall wish one and all a most delightful
All Hallows Eve!.. albeit a smidgen early.
May you all find the houses that have the full sized candy bars!
The garden leaves are starting to turn and with that I'm reminded
of all the memories of seasons past. Those of fond family and friends who
live with us still, or have past on and visit in spirit.
They're felt in yesterdays thoughts and the hugs of today's laughter.
What is it about the the Autumnal air that kindles the heart's
fervent glow all the more in remembrance of loved ones?
So today I posted several miniature paintings in my shop.
Many of these are not much bigger than a postage stamp.
And last but not least....
Koo Koo Kachoo...... I am the Walrus.
Everyone needs a little bit of a Walrus in their life now and then! ;-)
Christmas here I come!
Be watching for some sculpted camels and deer!
...... Do you feel it?
Do you sense it?....
There is magic in the air!

I wanted to share the delicious get well gift from from my Dad and Carole!
A beautiful arrangement from Edible Arrangements!
Doesn't it look lucious!
Besides the lovely fresh fruit arrangement in a vase, there was a
separate box on the side with Ooolala ...
chocolate dipped Strawberries, bananas and apples!
Talk about a feast for the pallette and the eyes! Everything was so sweet and delicious!!
Thank you SOOO much for my special treat! I absolutely loved it!! :-)
Can you believe that Autumn is only a few days away?!
This little pumpkin can't believe it either! What What?!
I've been out of commission for several weeks with pneumonia (bummer)
but am slowly getting
back into the swing of things, and am working on having a
Halloween piece ready for the Sept Ehag Emporium on the 30th,
so stay tuned and cross your fingers!
Oh! And wish I could be there but,
if you happen to be in Chelsea, Michigan on Sept 28th, be sure
and stop in to the Ghoultide Gathering, which is a fabulous show with many of my
artist friends, the top Halloween Folk Artists in the country!
Also, on the West Coast is the
Halloween and Vine Show, in Petaluma, CA on the same day!
WhooEeee! Amazing artists abound! :-)
None of the new fangled horror stuff, but lots of
old fashioned and light hearted Halloween goodness in the tradition of days gone by! Fun!

It's time, it's time!
For the 6th annual Mad HattersTea Party!

A Fanciful Twist for hosting this annual fun event!
If you'd like to continue the excitment from here,
you can wander over
and experience many more tea parties
over at A Fanciful Twist and
continue in the fun!
Come with me and you will see a treasure of delight,
Rabbits wise and starry skies reflect the glowing sight.
Chartreuse green and pink of pinks, and leaves of vibrant hue;
Stone laid paths, an oaken tree, and moss do lend a clue,
Can it be, I surely see a table laid for me?
Pull up a chair, sit down right there,
You're invited to my tea!
Tea Cake and sweets, delightful treats, laid out in such a way,
Brocade of green, birds seldom seen, and antique acorn crochet;
Shall I pour out, a dripping spout, it's such a lovely day,
All my favorites, tea just right. I wonder if there's souffle?
Golden flowers smiling thusly, as I sip the golden brew;
How delightful, how delovely, served from the pot of blue.
What is this, a stolen kiss?
From an unexpected guest?
Every hairs in place, from tail to face
he want's to look his best!
Why this little chap, has seized the day
and wants to be a giveaway! :-)
Along with him, a special book, to remind you of this day.
So enjoy your tea, the flowers too,
and I'll lay out the protocol for you.
Simply leave a comment with your name attached,
and follow my blog
and Facebook. unmatched.
Then when the BLOG followers reach 300 and stay,
then little bunny and book will be on their way!

It's a Possible Impossibilities Giveaway...

For tonight's Ehag Emporium I'm introducing
"Mortimer Morbidly, Esq."
He's the proprietor of the Morbidly Melancholy Mortuary of Greymore Gulch.
In social gatherings he's often fond of joking...
"People are simply dying to see me".
Thank you so much for looking, and for your continued support!
Wishing everyone a Wonderful Easter! :-)
This little bunny, along with several others will be making their debut
in my Etsy Shop this evening.
They are assorted sizes and this particular fellow is approximately 6 in high.
He has German Glass eyes, luscious long ears, a loving heart charm
and an adorable expression. Each one has a sweet personality of their own
and they'll be ready for adoption tonight!
Oh... also tonight is the Ehag Emporium so be watching for my
"Mortimer Morbidly, Esq."

Look who I found hiding under the
Milkweed plant in the garden!
Isn't she pretty? :-)
This lovely caterpillar will soon build a
crysallis and slowly transform into....
A Monarch Butterfly! :-)
Here's more info if you'd like to create a butterfly
garden in your own backyard! :-)

For the Ehag Emporium this month I've created something
a bit different than my usual "unusual" fair.
This is a very pouty and stingy "Veggie man in the moon" named
He's very well behaved until... you try
to take his little Jack O Lantern away from him and then, well,
lets just say it's a right royal veggie conniption!
I've also been meaning to share this beautiful Amaryllis bloom!
This bulb was a gift from my Dad (Thank YOU!) when he came to visit
at Christmas and the end of January it sent up two
large stalks and these amazing red blossoms!
There were four in total!
This was the first blooming, and two weeks ago
there was a second flush, and now a third is
on it's way! Amazing! I thought Orchids gave you alot of
bloom for your buck, but these are right up there
on the enduring and intensely stunning level as well!
For those that have asked,
I'm posting the bunnies the end of the week. :-)

How in the world did it become February already and
where did January go?! Something tells me this is going to be
another one of those years that zooms by at the speed of lightning.
At any rate, this is my first blog post of the year so
Happy Belated New Year Everyone! lol
So this little sculpture "Fantom Frazzle" is my creation
for the Ehag Emporium for January 2013.
The bunnies are a work in progress,
and are coming along nicely.
Lots of fun new things coming up!

The New Year is fast approaching, and I wanted to thank one and all for your friendship,
blog comments, likes, and enthusiastic support.
Here's to a spectacular 2013, and may we all be blessed with health, love, joy,
and the most magical of dreams and imagination coming true!
May your new year be happier than a pan full of Polar Bears!
Happy New Year! :-)

Once again I find myself asking, Where did the time go?! Thanksgiving
is past, November's end is nigh, and the Christmas holidays are
just around the corner in all of it's beautiful sights, songs and heavenly aromas.
It's been raining here the last few days so I've been able to catch up
on several pieces in the studio. I just mailed out 4 special OOAK ornaments for the
annual PFATT Ornament exchange but I can't reveal those until the lucky
recipients have received their surprises. Well,
maybe a little sneek peek. "giggle" :-)
This little fellow is
Owlf, the Christmas Owl. (he's camera shy)
He's been created in a vintage and aged style and is embellished with
German Glass Glitter.
He stands on a lovely painted wood planked base.
He holds a wee whisp of a Sprig of a tree, and looks
simply thrilled to be wearing his little green elf outfit!...
Well, perhaps he looks somewhat less than thrilled because he is, after all,
a Halloween Owl moonlighting for the Christmas season, lol,
and here he stands, waiting for Santa. :-)
Owlf stands 7" (H) x 3"(W). The wooden base is 4" x 4"
Owlf is the my year end piece for the Ehag Emporium
and he'll be available HERE tonight at 9pm (est) 6pm (pst)
Getting ready to decorate the house so doing some extra
spit and polish in readiness, so that's it till next time! :-)
