WIPed into shape....

So after much ado, then procrastination, fiddling about, then more ado, I decided to say adieu to
trying to sew actual little clothes for my gentleman bun, and just sculpted them instead.
I must say, I have SO much admiration for the artists that make the clothing for their creations. For some reason, messing about with the needle and thread somewhat manifests to me as, instead of writer's block, something of a sewer's block or something. For now, I'll have to conclude I'm meant to do otherwise ... which I must say, I'm VERY happy about.
Does anyone else out there find sewing a challenge? I've made a Renaissance Faire costume for my horse and I years ago, but that was over sized and it seems much easier to hide a mis-stitch on larger projects.
As my Grandma Tinnon used to say (she was an excellent seamstress by the way),
"On a galloping horse, no one will notice!"
Now, if only my art customers were on galloping horses! Ha!
No, I've not given up, just putting tiny sewing on the back burner. What a relief!!!
At any rate, here are some of my works in progress, awaiting paint.
I also have a couple of small paintings in the works as well.

The flowers in bloom this week are ravishing red.

My Mr Lincoln rose has gone crazy and is loaded with blooms.

The Abutilon over the pond is loaded down with flowers as well.

The Salvia is looking lovely too.

Have a super weekend!

Who cares if you aren't sewing those clothes, your sculpting of them is wonderful. They have the relaxed look of fabric. The other pieces in the background are very intriguing. I'd love to see your work in person.

The flowers are beautiful. It will be a while up here before we have roses of any sort!

No need to sew, the sculpting looks FABBY!

Oh, I've got no green thumb and can't sew for beans. Wish I could!

Beautiful work!

My Mother used to make Barbie Doll clothes. I marveled at how straight and even all her stitches were. I tried it and I wasn't near as good at it as she was. I think your sculpted clothes look perfectly fine. Mr. Bunny is going to be so cute when he is finished. :0)

The flowers are so pretty. Something about red flowers in the Spring - very eye catching! And Your Salvia is gorgeous! I think they are one of my most favorite flowers.

Thank you everyone! Sculpting it will be, though I would still like to learn to sew a few tiny things. I'll surprize everyone someday. lol Glad you're enjoying the flowers as well. Blogger was fussing and blurred the photos a bit, but I'm so happy you like them! :-) Have a great weekend everyone!

OMG who can sculpt clothes! You are a true artist, I sew, anyone can sew, but I agree I don't like tedious small sewing.
